I am home, Sarasota.

For the past four years, my family and I have called the Appalachian Mountains (Asheville, NC) our home. While we loved the fresh mountain air, we had a calling to move back to our tight-knit community of family and friends.  

I want to take a moment and say, wow! I am so happy to be back!  

Having lived here on and off since 1993, I consider Sarasota to be genuine roots. My husband and I were married at Spanish Point, my firstborn is a native, and my second child has been here since he learned to walk. 

Growing up on the Jersey Shore, I absolutely love the water, so I embrace the beautiful beaches Sarasota has to offer. The beach, for me, is healing. It’s my medicine. Add in 99% quartz sand from the Appalachian Mountains, and I am in bliss.

After spending my time as an Acupuncturist working in someone else’s clinic, I am finally ready to open the doors to Jen Maecker Acupuncture & Wellness right near downtown Sarasota. I share the space with three other amazing practitioners: Dr. Angela Rauter AP, Sarah Baar, LMT, and Dawn Tansill, LMT.

Beginning October 11th, 2021,  I will be booking appointments for Acupuncture, Pediatric Acupuncture, Herbal & Lifestyle Consultations,  Herbal Prescriptions, Acupoint Injection Therapy, and Cupping/Guasha Therapy. 

I look forward to providing the Sarasota Community a space for healing and wellness.
